JSU CAREER: 2017: Saw action in all 12 games on the offensive line…aided in paving the way for JSU to rank among the leaders in the Ohio Valley Conference in rushing offense and the Gamecocks led the league in scoring offense…Jax State led the OVC in first downs per game at 19.5 per game and averaged over 200 yards on the ground.
2016: Appeared in eight games as a redshirt freshman…made his collegiate debut in JSU’s season opener against North Alabama…helped the Gamecocks rush for over 228 yards each game of a four-game stretch (TTU, APSU, EKU and EIU) during the month of October…appeared in the first playoff game of his career against Youngstown State on Dec. 3.
2015: Sat out the season as a redshirt.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played for head coach and former Gamecock Clifford Story (1993-96) at Lanett High School in Lanett, Ala…listed as a two-star recruit by Rivals.com and 247Sports…a first team All-State selection by the Alabama Sportswriters Association in each his junior and senior season…record over 100 pancakes as a senior…helped lead the Panthers to an 11-1 season and to the third round of the AHSAA Class 2A Playoffs as a junior, paving the way for first team All-State back Marlon Bridges, who ran for over 2,000 yards…chose the Gamecocks over Arkansas State, Western Kentucky, UAB, Memphis and Troy.
