JSU CAREER:
Fall 2021: Played in seven games for the Gamecocks…had a season-high five tackles in JSU upset win at Florida State on Sept. 11…had three tackles, a sack and a forced fumble against UT Martin on Sept. 25…finished second on the team with four pass breakups to go along with his 20 total tackles for the year.
Fall 2020/Spring 2021: Made appearances in all 13 games in his redshirt sophomore season with the Gamecocks while starting the final 7 of the spring season... recorded 32 tackles on the year including 22 unassisted stops and three tackles for loss...had a season-high day in the quarterfinals of the FCS Playoffs against Delaware with six tackles, three solo stops and a fumble recovery against the Blue Hens on May 2nd...also recorded two pass breakups to finish the season.
2019: Made appearances in all 12 games this season including his first start coming at Tennessee Tech on Nov. 9...recorded 21 tackles on the year, all but two were solo takedowns...had a career-high against Murray State where he picked up seven tackles, all unassisted, with one of them coming for a loss of 2 yards...also recorded his first forced fumble at UT-Martin.
2018: Made two appearances in his first year at cornerback in contests against Murray State on Oct. 27 and Tennessee State on Nov. 10 where he made his first career tackle before being named a redshirt.
HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered one season for head coach Josh Hall at Hewitt-Trussville High School in Trussville, Ala…received a two-star rating from 247Sports.com and Scout.com…led the Huskies to a 7A, Region 4 championship his senior season…named Second Team Defense by the Trussville Tribune…chose the Gamecocks over The Citadel, East Tennessee State, Eastern Kentucky, Mercer and Tennessee Tech.
PERSONAL: Born on March 10, 1999, in Birmingham, Ala…the son of George Fulford and Latasha Steele-Fulford…has three younger siblings, brother Marquis, and sisters, Tashayla and TaMyla…plans to study engineering at JSU.
