2018: Sat out the 2018 season due to NCAA transfer rules.
2017: Attended the University of West Georgia.
2015 & 2016: Was member of the Gamecock baseball team…made 10 appearances out of the bullpen before being sidelined with an injury in 2016…pitched 11.1 innings and did not allow more than two hits in any of the 11 appearances…credited with a win over Western Kentucky (3/5/16) after recording the final out with a strikeout…played in five games and made a pair of starts in the JSU outfield in both games with in-state rival Troy in 2015…had one hit against the Trojans (3/11/15) and scored a pair of runs along with an RBI…made four appearances on the mound as a freshman and tossed 3.2 innings.
2014: Sat out the season as a redshirt…also a member of the Gamecock baseball team during the 2015 season…saw action in five games at the plate with a hit and an RBI…made four pitching appearances, tossing 3.2 innings pitched.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played at Eagles Landing Christian Academy for Jonathan Gess…was named the Region 5-A Player of the Year and was a first-team all-state selection as a senior…first-team all-area and all-region after team finished 11-1 in 2013…led the Chargers to a 48-5 record during his four-year career, including the 2012 State Championship…won four straight region championships…also lettered in baseball, where he the Chargers to a State Championship and was named Class A Player of the Year.
PERSONAL: Full name is Dalton Etheridge…born on November 12, 1995 in Atlanta, Ga.…is the son of Connie and Terry Etheridge…has one sister, Kayla…majoring in business at JSU.
