JSU CAREER: Fall 2021: Made six starts and played in eight games total at left guard for the Gamecocks… helped JSU’s offensive line open the holes for three 200-yard rushing games including the upset win at Florida State on Sept. 11…blocked for an offense that gained more than 350 total yards in six games with a season-high 497 gained in the win against Abilene Christian.
Fall 2020/Spring 2021: Started in all 12 games played in during his third season with Jax State...received All-OVC First Team honors for his achievements at guard with the Gamecocks... part of an offensive line unit that blocked for the top offense in the Ohio Valley Conference, one that gained 384 yards per game... helped protect a Jax State passing game that led the OVC and ranked 28 nationally in total offense with 4,993 yards on the year.
2019: Appeared in six games, starting five as a sophomore for the Gamecocks…missed six games in the middle of the season due to an injury…blocked for the top offense in the Ohio Valley Conference, one that gained 419 yards per game…helped protect a JSU passing game that led the OVC and ranked 14th nationally with 296 yards per game.
2018: Played in eight games on the offensive front for the Gamecocks as a true freshman, including both of the team’s FCS Playoff games…part of an offensive front that paved the way for one of the most prolific attacks in school history…led JSU to 6,465 total yards, the third-most in a season in school-history, as well as a school-record 3,864 passing yards…helped JSU score 520 points, third-most in school history.
HIGH SCHOOL: A three-star recruit by Rivals.com…played for head coach Tyrone Rogers at Robert E. Lee High School in Montgomery, Ala…a second-team all-state selection by the Alabama Sports Writers Association…was a first-team all-region performer in each his junior and senior seasons…selected to play in the Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Game…chose the Gamecocks over offers from several schools, including Kennesaw State, UMass, Bowling Green, Tennessee State and Tulane.
PERSONAL: Born on Sept. 4, 1999 in Jackson, Ala…the son of Cornelius and Tanishia Hill...majoring in sports management at JSU.
