JSU CAREER: 2017: Sat out the season as a redshirt transfer.
PRIOR TO JSU: Played two seasons at the University of West Alabama in Livingston, Ala…appeared in eight games and made 14 catches as a true freshman in 2015…played in 11 games as a sophomore in 2016 with eight catches for 76 yards and a touchdown…also spent time as a kickoff returner compiling 425 yards on 20 attempts, including a 26-yard average on three returns against Division I Stephen F. Austin.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played for Coach Steve Smith at Piedmont High School…three-time all-county and all-district…two-time all-region…helped lead track and field team to a pair of state championships.
PERSONAL: First name is Devonta…born on November 15, 1996...the son of Shareka Savage and Charles Dudley…has three siblings.
