JSU CAREER:
2018: Made an appearance in the first home contest of the year against Mississippi Valley State…his first appearance as a JSU running back was a career one as he carried the ball 11 times for 53 yards and a touchdown with a long of 13 yards…also made an unassisted tackle in the same contest.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played his senior season for head coach Stacy Luker at Clarke County High School in Grove Hill, Ala…a first-team all-state selection by the Alabama Sports Writers Association as a senior after leading the Bulldogs to an 11-3 record and to the semifinals of the AHSAA Class 3A Playoffs…led a CCHS offense that set a school record with 474 total points in 2017…was named a finalist for the AHSAA Class 3A Back of the Year after he ran for 1,845 yards and 26 touchdowns on 239 carries as a senior…also had 234 receiving yards and two scores on 11 catches…a four-time all-region performer…played at Washington County High School in Chatom, Ala., where he was a first-team all-state pick by the ASWA as a sophomore in 2015, when he led the Bulldogs to their second-straight region title.
PERSONAL: Born on December 20, 1999, in Jackson, Ala…the son of Billy Kinsey and Erica Pogue…has two older brothers, Braxton and D’Heir…plans to study forensic psychology at JSU.
