JSU CAREER: 2017: Saw action in six games, including the last four games of the 12-game slate.
2016: Appeared in 10 games during the season as a redshirt freshman…made his collegiate debut in the Gamecocks’ season-opening game against North Alabama on Sept. 1…also appeared in JSU’s second-round FCS playoff game against Youngstown State on Dec. 3…provided depth on the offensive line, which helped Gamecock runners rush for more than 3,000 yards…blocked for JSU’s offense which totaled more than 5,000 yards when having the ball.
2015: Sat out the season as a redshirt.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played for head coach Terrance Banks at Newton High School in Covington, Ga…an All-Region performer that was also selected to the DL Scott Coalition Bowl and the Georgia/Florida All-Star Classic…recorded 30 pancakes on offense and 15 tackles for a loss on defense…also intercepted a pair of passes…was named NHS Most improved Player as a sophomore and the team’s Defensive Line MVP as a senior…after his team’s first-round win over Valdosta, was named Athlete of the Week by the Covington News…led the Rams to the quarterfinals of the 2015 state playoffs…also threw the discus on the NHS track and field team.
