JSU CAREER:
2019: Started all 12 games in his second year as the Gamecocks’ leading tackler...following a standout performance year Woodard was named to the All-OVC Second Team Defense as well as the FCS ADA Academic All-Star Team for his combined efforts on the field as well as in the classroom... recorded 96 tackles on the year, leading the team in stops, 43 of them were solo, including seven tackles for loss... assisted on half of a sack and picked up an interception at Eastern Illinois on Oct. 12...made two quarterback hurries, broke up four passes and recovered a fumble against Tennessee State at home...his season high in tackles came at Austin Peay on Sept. 28 where he registered 12 takedowns... had 10 of 12 games making at least five tackles and four games with at least 10 stops, including back-to-back games of 11 tackles to finish the year.
 
2018: Made appearances in all 13 games in his first full year as a Linebacker for Jax State... Recorded 30 tackles including 16 unassisted and 14 with assistance along with 4.5 tackles for loss for a total of 19 yards loss... Also recorded 0.5 of a sack for a loss of 4 yards... Picked up 3 interceptions for the year returned for 29 yards including 2 in one contest against Eastern Kentucky on Oct. 6... Had a career high day on Oct. 27 against Murray State where he recorded 4 tackles, 3 unassisted and 1 with assistance, 2.5 tackles for losses of 10 yards, 0.5 of a sack for a loss of 4 yards, and an interception returned for 18 yards... Also managed to make 2 quarterback hurries and a pass breakup against North Carolina A&T on August 25 in Montgomery.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped for head coach Jack Hankins at Thomasville High School in Thomasville, Ala…helped the Tigers to a 9-3 record and a 5-1 record in AHSAA Class 4A Region 1 play…led THS to the third round of the AHSAA Class 4A Playoffs before falling to eventual state champions Handley…a second team All-State selection by the Alabama Sports Writers Association in 2016…was awarded the THS Linebacker Award, as well as the Highest GPA Award after posting a 4.1 GPA…a team captain for the Tigers and earned the John Duncan Tiger Pride Award…was named to the Coastal Alabama All-Region Team after recording 121 tackles, five sacks and five interceptions…ran for 14 rushing touchdowns out of the wildcat formation.
 
PERSONAL: Born on Nov. 16, 1998, in Thomasville, Ala…the son of Gachel Woodard…majoring in accounting at JSU.
