2014: Played in all 12 games in his first season as a Gamecock, earning the starting nod at wide out eight times…was second on the team with 25 catches for 350 yards, while hauling in two touchdowns…averaged 29.2 yards per game and 14.0 yards per catch…also had one punt return for six yards…caught at least one pass in 10 games, including a season-high seven grabs for a season-best 113 yards against Eastern Illinois on Nov. 15…caught one pass for 23 yards in his JSU debut at Michigan State on Aug. 29…pulled in his first career touchdown as a Gamecock on Oct. 25 against Tennessee Tech, a 10-yard toss from Eli Jenkins…longest catch of the year was a 44-yard toss from Christian LeMay…had a 38-yard reception in the Eastern Illinois game.

2013: Gonzalez appeared in 11 games…recorded five receptions for 71 yards with an average of 14.2 yards per catch…best game of the season came vs. Memphis (11/16) where he had one reception for 20 yards.
2012: Redshirted.
2011: Played in 11 games as a true freshman at wide receiver and on special teams…posted five catches for 55 yards…also tallied two special teams tackles…made his first career reception, a 14-yarder, against FAMU…caught two passes for 22 yards at Pitt…also had single-catch games against Cincinnati and Syracuse.
HIGH SCHOOL: Coached by Mike Depue at Robinson High School…a versatile all-state performer, who played both wide receiver and defensive back as a prepster…notched 85 receptions for 1,250 yards (14.7 ypc) and 15 TDs and also added 76 tackles, an INT and four PBU over his last two seasons…tabbed second-team All-Hillsborough County as a senior…tallied 46 receptions for 651 yards and seven TDs as a senior…added 34 tackles and two PBU as a defensive back…earned honorable mention all-state and second-team All-Hillsborough County honors at wide receiver as a junior…posted 39 receptions for 599 yards and eight TDs…also notched 42 tackles, an INT, two PBU, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.
