JSU CAREER
2014: Saw action in eight games last season on the Jax State defensive front…finished the season with a trio of tackles…credited with stops against Ohio Valley Conference foes UT Martin, Austin Peay and Eastern Illinois. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Cedar Grove High School and Arabia Mountain High School in the Atlanta, Ga.-area…played four seasons on the gridiron and was an All-County selection…also participated in swim and track and field in high school.

PERSONAL: Full name is Zachary Thomas Heard…was born on September 8, 1993…is the son of Terry and Lina Locke Watson…has one brother, Curtis, and a pair of sisters, Severia and Terriana…majoring in emergency management at JSU.
