PRIOR TO JSU: Played two seasons at Furman…in 2013, earned second-team All-Southern Conference honors while leading the Paladins to the Southern Conference championship…had 112 tackles, including 12 for a loss…had a team-high 11 tackles, a 34-yard interception return for a touchdown and a school-record 90-yard punt return for a touchdown in Furman’s FCS Playoff win at South Carolina State…In 2012, earned playing time in all 11 games, serving on special teams and as a reserve defensive back...began the season as Furman’s primary kickoff return specialist, totaling nine returns for 193 yards (21.4 avg.), before giving way to Jerodis Williams, who went on to lead FCS in kickoff returns...registered four punt returns for 15 yards...had a pair of 28-yard kickoff returns against both Samford and Coastal Carolina, respectively...credited with four tackles, including a pair of stops versus Presbyterian (31-21 win).
