JSU CAREER:
(2016): Filled some big shoes as JSU's closer after the departure of the programs all-time saves leader, Travis Stout, but all he did was start the season with 19 consecutive outings without giving up an earned run…posted an Ohio Valley Conference-best 11 saves, including seven in conference games…ranked 35th in NCAA Division I in saves…finished the season with 25 appearances and an earned run average of 1.80 in 30.0 innings pitched…allowed 14 total runs on 28 hits, but allowed just six earned runs in 2016…collected 40 strikeouts in the closing role…earned a win against Western Kentucky (3/4) after tossing one inning…was one of 40 pitchers named to the Midseason Watch List for the 12th annual National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Stopper of the Year Award, given to the top relief pitcher in NCAA Division I baseball…pitched a season-high 2.1 innings against Eastern Kentucky (5/8)…tallied four strikeouts in three different outings, including two in league play against Austin Peay (3/19) and versus UT Martin(5/21).
(2015): Became a valuable asset out of the bullpen as a redshirt freshman…finished the season as setup guy for closer Travis Stout…turned in a team-best 2.01 earned run average after making 21 appearances during the season…picked up his first collegiate win against Eastern Kentucky (5/3/15), pitching the final inning of a 16-13 JSU win…allowed 15 hits and five earned runs in 22.1 innings of work…fanned 23 batters and gave up 13 free passes…pitched a season-high two innings in three different contests, including a pair of Ohio Valley Conference outings against Belmont (4/25/15) and Morehead State (5/10/15)…struck out a career-high four batters against Belmont (4/25/15)…was one of four Gamecocks to earn a spot on the OVC’s All-Freshman Team.
(2014): Sat out the season as a redshirt.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played at Oak Mountain High School under head coach Brian Breeze…finished his career with a 2.77 earned run average…named to the All-Shelby County team.
