(2017): Hit .259 in 17 games while scoring three runs, driving in two base runners and finished with nine total bases … stole two bases and did not commit an error … made his collegiate debut against Western Kentucky on Feb. 25 when he recorded a hit in his lone at bat.
(2016): Sat out the season as a redshirt.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played four varsity seasons at Eagles Landing Christian Academy for head coaches Doug Campbell, Ricky Archer, Mike Dickson and Mike Cameron…won State Championship his senior season catching the final out at first base…2-time First Team All-State selection at first base…named team Defensive Player of the Year…former teammate of Miami’s Jacob Hoywood and JSU’s Dalton Etheridge.
PERSONAL: Born on Feb. 11, 1996 in Everett, Washington…the son of Aaron Hammers and Ellen Shannon…has a cousin playing professionally in Boston Red Sox organization…also recruited by North Georgia…plans to major in Marketing at JSU.
