PRIOR TO JSU: One of two newcomers that joined the program from Chattahoochee Valley Community College, joining Trent Simpson…played for Adam Thomas at CVCC and helped the Pirates to back-to-back Alabama Community College titles in 2015 and 2016 and trips to the 2015 2016 NJCAA World Series…in two seasons, CVCC posted a 95-29 overall mark and combined for 52 wins in Region 22…a piece of a Pirate offense that registered 544 runs in 2016, averaging 8.5 runs per game…accumulated a .340 batting average in two season on the juco level…tallied 108 hits over a two-year span, including 10 extra base hits…drove in 29 runs as a freshman and 23 as a sophomore…combined for 21 stolen bases at CVCC, including 14 in 2016…named to the 2016 NJCAA World Series All-Tournament Team.
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended North Cobb High School and a four-year member of the NCHS baseball program…named all-county and all-region as a senior after producing a .420 batting average for the Warriors.
PERSONAL: Born on December 24, 1995…the son of Mike and Sarah Greckel …has one brother, Andrew…a business management major at JSU.
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended North Cobb High School and a four-year member of the NCHS baseball program…named all-county and all-region as a senior after producing a .420 batting average for the Warriors.
