JSU CAREER
(2016):
A serviceable arm out of the bullpen as a junior with 18 appearances on the mound…turned in a 2-0 record after collecting wins over Murray State (4/9) and at Tennessee Tech (4/17)…pitched a season-best four innings to claim the win over the Racers…scattered three hits in the four innings against MSU…posted three strikeouts on two different occasions against Alabama State (3/2) and at Samford (3/22)…recorded his first career save at Belmont (4/30) after tossing the final 3.2 innings of JSU’s 26-11 win over the Bruins…finished the season with 35.0 innings pitched, striking out 22 batters.
 
(2015): Made 15 appearances on the mound as a sophomore, including his first career start against Alabama State (3/18/15)…tossed a career-high four innings against the Hornets and posted four strikeouts in the outing…finished the season with 23.1 innings pitched and stuck out 18 batters and walked just five…saw action in five Ohio Valley Conference games, including two scoreless innings at Eastern Kentucky (5/3/15)...named to the 2014-15 OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

(2014): Saw action out of the bullpen in nine games as a true freshman…made his JSU debut against Northwestern State (2/16) …tossed a season-best five innings versus Kennesaw State (3/2) to earn his first career win…surrendered four hits in the outing and did not allow a run…struck out eight in 12.1 innings of work in 2014.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Played at Grissom High School under head coach Adam Moseley…named first-team all-district as a short stop in 2013…finished his senior season batting .337 and posted a 3-1 record on the mound with a 3.27 ERA…also lettered in basketball.
 
PERSONAL: Full name is Michael William McCreless…son of Mike McCreless…born on January 25, 1995…lists the Atlanta Braves as his favorite Major League Baseball team and Greg Maddux as his favorite player…majoring in math at JSU.
