JSU CAREER:
(2016): Filled the role of a set up guy from the left side of the mound for JSU with 23 appearances out of the bullpen, which was tied for second on the pitching staff…finished the season with 42.2 innings of work with 42 total strikeouts, which tied for the team lead…made his Gamecock debut on the opening weekend of the season with two innings of work against Valparaiso (2/21)…worked two-plus innings in 12 of the 23 appearances…went a season-best 3.2 innings at Tennessee Tech…was touched for six hits by Tech, but allowed just one run and collect four strikeouts to help JSU record a 15-14 win to clinch the weekend series with a save…registered a season high four strikeouts on three other occasions…finished second on the club in saves with five, all coming in Ohio Valley Conference play…preserved wins against Murray State (4/8), Eastern Kentucky (5/7) and UT Martin (5/20)…registered a win over Austin Peay in JSU’s opening game of the OVC Tournament after going 2.1 innings in relief.

PRIOR TO JSU:Â Played for head coach Eric Matsen at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah in 2014. He then spent a season at Seward County (Kan.) CC under head coach Galen McSpadden in 2015.

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at D’Evelyn High in Denver, Colo…first team All-State and team MVP in 2013.
