JSU CAREER
2014: Saw action in seven games as a junior and finished with four total tackles…posted a solo stop in the season opener at Michigan State…collected a pair of tackles against West Alabama…played in four Ohio Valley Conference games in the defensive backfield.

2013: Played in 13 of the Gamecocks’ 15 games as a sophomore…recorded three tackles, all solo…had a tackle vs. Murray State on Sept. 28, one at Eastern Illinois on Nov. 16 and another at McNeese State on Dec. 7 in the second round of the NCAA FCS Playoffs.

2012: Played in three games for the Gamecocks as a freshman…made his first career tackle at Tennessee Tech on Oct. 6.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played for head coach Lonnie Rawlins at Satsuma High School in Satsuma, Ala…a versatile player that started at receiver as a sophomore, quarterback as a junior and running back as a senior…ran for over 1,000 yards as a senior for the Gators.

PERSONAL: Full name is Bryant Tremaine Mitchell…born on May 27, 1993, in Mobile, Ala…the son of Earl and Lynda Mitchell…has three brothers, Winston, Andre and Terence…majoring in psychology at JSU.
