JSU CAREER:
Fall 2020/Spring 2021: Started 12 of the 13 spring and fall games played in his first full season with Jax State... received numerous postseason honors and awards as he was named OVC Defensive Player of the Year, a Buck Buchannon Award Finalist, an FCS ADA All-American as the best player in the nation at his position, AP First Team All-American, AFCA First Team All-American, All-OVC First Team safety, HERO Sports First Team All-American, and twice received OVC weekly honors including newcomer of the week and defensive player of the week... led the team in tackles with 92, half of them coming unassisted including 2.5 solo stops for 11 yards lost... recorded at least six tackles in all but two contests on the season with a career-high 13 tackles coming against Tennessee Tech on February 28... returned a fumble recovery for a 64-yard touchdown in the lone fall home contest against Mercer on October 10...finished the year leading the team in interceptions with three, while recording a quarterback hurry and three pass breakups.

PRIOR TO JSU: Spent two seasons at Southern Miss in Hattiesburg, Miss…appeared in nine games as a true freshman in 2018, primarily on special teams as the Golden Eagles’ gunner…recorded tackles in three games…was redshirted in 2019.
 
PREP: Prepped at Carver High School in Atlanta, Ga., where he was a two-star prospect by Rivals…at CHS, earned First Team All-Region 6-AAAAA as a safety and also earned honorable mention honors as a tight end…recorded 94 tackles, 58 solo, as well as a pair of interceptions and 29 passes defended…on offense, hauled in 20 catches for 386 yards and a touchdown.
