JSU CAREER:
2013: Appeared in eight games as a sophomore for the Gamecocks, earning the starting nod at quarterback at Austin Peay on Nov. 2…threw for 446 yards and two touchdowns on 39-of-65 passing…in his first career start at APSU, completed 18-of-30 passes for 188 yards in a 42-10 JSU win…on Oct. 26 in a 34-14 win at Tennessee Tech threw for 138 yards and two touchdowns on 11-of-17 passing…tossed a 35-yard touchdown pass to Earl Calloway in the second quarter and a 26-yard scoring pass to Anthony Johnson late in the fourth quarter…made his debut against Jacksonville on Sept. 7 and completed his only pass attempt for seven yards.
2012: Saw no action for the Gamecocks as a redshirt freshman.
2011: Sat out the season as a redshirt.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played at St. Augustine High School for Joey Wiles…was a three-year starter and never lost a regular-season game while posting a 34-3 record as a starter…was an all-state selection after throwing for more than 1,700 yards and 12 touchdowns as a senior…helped team to a No. 3 ranking an into the Class 3A semi-finals…led the Yellow Jackets to two district championships…holds the school record for most wins by a quarterback…had his best game as a senior after going 16-for-24 for 244 yards and three touchdowns in a 29-3 win over Matanzas…was selected to play in the Florida Shrine Bowl as a senior…emerged as the starter during his sophomore season when he guided team from a 19-0 deficit to defeat Bartram Trail 22-19 in just his second varsity game as he threw three touchdowns and completed a two-point conversion pass…a high school teammate of JSU wide receiver Markis Merrill.
