HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at North Jackson High School and coached by Shawn Peek…earned honorable mention all-state honors as a defensive back by the Alabama Sports Writers Association as a senior at NJHS…helped Chiefs to a 7-5 record and a trip to the second round of the state playoffs…a member of two region championship squads at NJHS in 2010 and 2011…a ASWA First Team selection as a junior after helping the Chiefs to an 11-1 record and a berth in the state playoffs…the NJHS defense allowed just 13.5 points per game…NJHS reached the state semifinals in 2011 to finish 13-1 on the season with the lone setback coming to Deshler High School.
