SUMMER BASEBALL: Was the closer for the Northsore Navigators in the New England Collegiate Baseball League in 2010…helped team win the NECBL League Championship.
JSU CAREER:
(2011) Made 20 appearances with seven starts…posted an 8-3 record with one save in 58.2 innings…allowed 70 hits, 36 runs, 32 earned runs with 49 strikeouts to 20 walks…posted a 3-1 record vs OVC opponents, with a 5.92 ERA, while striking out 20 and walking only four…tossed the only complete game of the season for the Gamecocks and was just two outs away from tossing a no-hitter against Southern Illinois-Edwardsville (4/30)…he threw just 65 pitches in the one-hitter, along a single to left field with one out in the seventh inning to earn Ohio Valley Conference Pitcher of the Week honors…had 11 appearances where he allowed 3-hits or fewer…picked up his first win of the year at Middle Tennessee (2/27), pitching 1.2 innings of relief…picked up a win in relief vs Southern Illinois (3/12)…also earned wins vs Northwestern (3/18), Auburn (3/22), UT Martin (3/26), Murray State (4/10), SEMO (4/22) and SIU Edwardsville (4/30)…had a season-high six strikeouts vs SIU (3/12) and Eastern Illinois (5/8)…picked up his first career save after pitching 4.0 innings of relief, not allowing a hit with two strikeouts vs Morehad State (5/21)…led team with nine ground double plays.
