JSU CAREER:
 
(2011) As a junior, set the Ohio Valley Conference single-season saves record with 15 to rank 10th nationally…made 30 appearances and posted a 5-4 record with 15 saves…pitched 58.1 innings, allowing 23 runs, 13 earned runs and recording 45 strikeouts to 24 walks, with 12 being intential walks…opponents hit .232…held OVC foes to a .191 ERA in 12 appearances and he earned six saves in conference play…had 11 appearances where he pitched 2-or more innings on the mound…did not allow a homerun all season…picked up his first win of the year on 2/26 at Middle Tennessee, where he scattered six hits through 5 2/3 innings in JSU’s 9-6 win…earned three straight saves vs Harvard on March 3-4 to earn OVC Pitcher of the Week honors…picked up his second OVC Pitcher of the Week honor after earning a save in JSU’s 5-4 win over 20th-ranked Auburn, then picked up a pair of saves vs UT Martin…he picked up 10th saves of the season to set JSU’s single-season school record at Murray State on 4/10…earned his 12th save of the year to tie the OVC single-season record on 4/30 vs SIU-Edwardsville and then set the OVC record after picking up this 13th save on May 20 against Morehead State…had his longest out of his career after pitching 7.1 innings, allowing only four hits and no runs in a 4-3 loss at Eastern Illinois on 5/7…allowed just three earned runs over the final 12 games, with all three coming vs UT Martin on May 25 in the OVC Tournament.
 
(2010) Emerged as the closer late in the season for the Gamecocks as a sophomore after appearing in 29 games, all in relief…finished fifth in the OVC with five saves, including two in the OVC Tournament…posted a 4-1 record in 48.0 innings on the mound…allowed 63 hits, 32 runs, 30 earned runs with 32 strikeouts and 24 walks…made his JSU debut against Michigan on 2/20…tossed a season-high 4.2 innings against Tennessee Tech on April 2 and held the Golden Eagles to one hit to earn his first career win…also earned wins over UAB (4/28), Eastern Illinois (5/8) and at Morehead State (5/21)…went a stretch of five-straight scoreless appearances from March 30 to April 10, including a scoreless two frames at Alabama on April 7…held opponents to one run over a stretch of nine outings in the middle of the year…had a season-high five strikeouts at Morehead State on 5/21…picked up his fifth save of the year vs Tennessee Tech (5/29) in the OVC Tournament after recording the final two outs of the game.
 
JUNIOR COLLEGE: Played at North West Shoals for David Langston…set the school record by making 28 appearances as a true freshman…posted a ERA of 0.00 versus conference opponents in the Alabama Community College Conference.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Played at Clay-Chalkville High School for Jeff Mauldin and Brandon Johnson…was a four-year lettermen…played on the same team former Gamecock outfielder Daniel Adamson.
 
PERSONAL: Full name is Todd Hornsby…son of David and Clair Hornsby…born on May 4, 1989…has one older brother, Ben…lists the Atlanta Braves as his favorite Major League Baseball team and John Smoltz as his favorite player…majoring in Industrial Technology, Occupational Safety and Health at JSU.
