JSU CAREER:
2012:
Saw action in all 11 of the Gamecocks’ games…recorded 21 tackles on the year…made 12 solo stops and nine assists…also recorded two pass break ups and assisted on a tackle for loss…recorded a career high four tackles against Southeast Missouri on Sept. 29…finished with three tackles in the season opener against Arkansas on Sept. 1 and then again against Eastern Illinois on Oct. 13, Murray State on Oct. 27 and UT Martin on Nov. 3…broke up a pass against Austin Peay on Nov. 10 and Florida on Nov. 17.

2011: Appeared in all 11 games for the Gamecocks as a true freshman…wrapped up 10 tackles, nine solo, on the season…had one interception and returned it 45 yards for a touchdown at Austin Peay on Oct. 15…had one tackle in seven games and had three at Southeast Missouri on Nov. 12.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played for Steve Smith at Piedmont High School…was a first-team all-state selection both his junior and senior years…led the Bulldogs to the state semifinals as a senior after finishing with 98 tackles and five interceptions, while scoring 19 touchdowns (nine as a receiver) in 2010…helped the Bulldogs win the State Championship his junior year…recorded 19 interceptions during his career and more than 200 tackles…was named to The Gadsden Times Dirty Dozen…named to The Anniston Star Dandy Dozen…named Calhoun County Most Valuable Player by The Anniston Star…also lettered in basketball, where he was named Offensive Most Valuable Player at the Calhoun County Basketball Championship…also helped the Bulldogs win the NE Regional Championship and advance to the Final 4 as a senior in 2010 in basketball.
