JSU CAREER:
2013: Saw action in 13 of the Gamecocks’ 15 games as a junior, earning the start at tight end twice…served primarily as a blocking end for the Gamecocks high-octane offensive attack…recoded a tackle at Eastern Illinois on Nov. 16.

2012: Did not see action.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played for head coach Andy Dorsey at Hiram High School in Hiram, Ga…helped the Hornets to an 11-1 record and into the playoffs as a senior.

PERSONAL: Full name is Darrius La’von Stephens…born on July, 23, 1992, in Montgomery, Ala…the son of Latonya German…has a younger brother, Derrick German.
