JSU CAREER:
2018: Played in 11 games as a redshirt junior for the Gamecocks, starting all of them…was a First Team All-OVC selection…part of an offensive front that paved the way for one of the most prolific attacks in school history…led JSU to 6,465 total yards, the third-most in a season in school-history, as well as a school-record 3,864 passing yards…helped JSU score 520 points, third-most in school history.
2017: Played in nine games and earned the starting job at right guard in eight of those nine contests…started at right guard in the final seven games…penciled in as the starter at right guard in the season opener against Chattanooga…paved the way for JSU to rank among the leaders in the Ohio Valley Conference in rushing offense and the Gamecocks led the league in scoring offense.
2016: Appeared in 11 games during his first year as a Gamecock, including the first eight straight…helped pave the way for three 700-or-more-yard rushers…worked with an offense which produced 32 rushing touchdowns on the year…helped the team rush for 3,007 yards in 12 games for an average of 250.6 rushing yards per game.
PRIOR TO JSU: 2015: Redshirted at East Carolina.
HIGH SCHOOL: A three-year letterman and team captain for head coach Greg Manior at Mundy’s Mill High School…earned selection to the All-South Metro, All-Clayton and All-Region squads (first team) as a senior…also a member of the All-State unit (second team) in 2014…played an integral role for an offensive line that paved the way for four 400-plus yard rushing contests, including a season-best 507-yard performance against Union Grove High School…helped the Tigers produce 4,851 yards of total offensive during the 2014 campaign which resulted in a 7-4 overall mark and 6-1 league record…Earned overall MVP honors during the National Underclassmen Offensive Line Camp…chosen as a participant in the Rising Senior Bowl…a First-Team All-South Metro and All-Region choice as a junior…also named to the Southern Crescent All-Star squad in 2013…picked up All-Region and All-Southern Crescent accolades as a sophomore during first letter-winning season as a member of the varsity…recipient of the Iron Tiger Award and named squad’s best offensive lineman in 2012…picked up additional letters as a member of MMHS’s wrestling and track programs.
