HIGH SCHOOL: Played for coach Keith Register at Hayden High School in Hayden, Ala…started at wideout as a sophomore for the Wildcats…named an All-Star by the North Jefferson News…a two-time all-county selection…as a junior, carried the ball 68 times for 541 yards and nine TDS, while catching seven passes for 137 yards…also had 71 tackles and four fumble recoveries on defense…as a senior, had 89 carries for 505 yards and four TDS, while hauling in 13 catches for 312 yards and four scores…had 52 tackles, nine pass breakups and four more fumble recoveries…also played basketball for the Wildcats.
