2014: Missed the entire season due to an injury.

2013: Appeared in all 15 games for the Gamecocks as a redshirt freshman, starting seven on the defensive front…made 27 tackles, 20 of which were solo and 4.5 behind the line of scrimmage…had 3.5 sacks, a fumble recovery and a pass break-up…made his collegiate debut in the season opener at Alabama State on Aug. 31 with a pair of tackles…had a season-high five tackles vs. Murray State on Sept. 28…had four tackles in a game twice, in back-to-back weeks at Eastern Illinois on Nov. 16 and vs. Southeast Missouri on Nov. 23recovered a fumble and returned it five yards vs. Eastern Kentucky on Nov. 9.

PRIOR TO JSU: Sat out the 2012 season as a redshirt at Ole Miss.

HIGH SCHOOL: A SuperPrep and PrepStar All-Region pick and rated the No. 19 player in Alabama by SuperPrep…named to The Birmingham News All-South first team as a senior…rated No. 16 player in Alabama and the No. 31 DE in the nation by Rivals.com…ranked the No. 42 DE in the nation by Scout.com…listed No. 17 on The Birmingham News Super Seniors list…posted 80 tackles, 10 sacks and three interceptions as a senior…coached in high school by Chris Musso.

PERSONAL: Son of Kevin and Kathy Wood…born on Sept. 9, 1992…majoring in liberal studies at JSU.
