JSU CAREER:
2018: Started 11 of the 13 games he played in as a junior for the Gamecocks, including the last 10 of the season…ranked second on the team in every receiving category with 864 yards and 11 touchdowns on 59 catches…he averaged 15 yards per catch and 67 yards per game…also tied for second in JSU history for pass receptions in a single season with 11…had a career-high receiving day on Sept. 28 against Austin Peay with 146 yards with a long of 34 and two touchdowns on seven catches…his longest reception came in the 2018 FCS playoff matchup with Maine on Dec. 1 where he brought down a 70-yard touchdown catch against the Black Bears.

2017: Saw action in all 12 games as a redshirt-sophomore…finished the season with 21 receptions, accumulating over 200 yards receiving and posting three touchdowns…had multiple catches in six of the 12 games, including a season-high four against Murray State (11/4), totaling 35 yards…two of the four receptions versus the Racers were scoring plays…caught two second quarter touchdown passes of 15 yards, and eight yards respectively…grabbed a 31-yard touchdown catch versus Eastern Kentucky (10/14)…registered three catches for 34 yards in the season opener against Chattanooga (8/26)…hauled in three receptions against Tennessee State (11/16) and in the playoffs against Kennesaw State (12/2). 

2016: Blasted onto the scene as a redshirt-freshman by appearing in all 12 games, including earning the start in five…finished the season with 330 receiving yards and three touchdowns on just 22 receptions recorded at least one catch in 10 games…set a career high in receptions and receiving yards with a six-catch, 102-receiving yard game at Murray State on Nov. 12…hauled in his first career receiving touchdown against Eastern Illinois on Oct. 29…credited with five multi-catch games…hauled in a 38-yard pass for a touchdown in JSU’s second-round playoff game against Youngstown State on Dec. 3.
2015: Sat out the season as a redshirt. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Played for head coach Roland Smith at Miami Central High School in Miami, Fla…led the Rockets to a No. 3 ranking in the state of Florida…listed as a two-star recruit by Rivals.com…led Central High School to its third straight Class 6A State Championship…as a senior, caught eight passes for 122 yards and two touchdowns…had six catches for 72 yards and a score in his junior season with the Rockets.

PERSONAL: Born on August 11, 1997, in Miami, Fla…son of Wayne and Samantha Hester…has four brothers, Twan, Tyrone, Wayne and Antonio…brother Antonio plays semi-pro for the Miami Knights…majoring in business management at JSU.
