JSU CAREER:
2018: Made appearances in all 13 games in as a redshirt Junior, including starts against Eastern Illinois and in the 2018 FCS Playoffs matchup against Maine…recorded 19 tackles for the year including nine solo…picked up 4.5 tackles for loss for a total of nine yards…made multiple tackles in the last five games from Nov. 2 against UT Martin to Dec. 1 against Maine…also managed to break up a pass against East Tennessee State on Nov. 24.

2017: Played in the final 11 games after missing the season-opener and started the final seven…made his 2017 debut with four tackles at Georgia Tech…turned in four tackles for the second consecutive week in the home opener versus Liberty…established a new career high with five tackles in the OVC opener at Tennessee Tech, including a sack…credited with quarterback hurries against Liberty and Murray State…tallied 28 total tackles and 4.0 tackles for loss. 

2016: Appeared in all 12 games as a redshirt freshman, including the Gamecocks’ FCS Playoff game against Youngstown State…finished with 27 tackles on the year…credited with 2.0 tackles for loss…recorded a quarterback hurry at Liberty on Sept. 24 and pass breakup against Eastern Illinois on Oct. 29…had at least one tackle in each of the season…set a career high in tackles with a four-tackle game when JSU won its third-straight OVC title against UT Martin on Nov. 19…had three tackles in four additional games during the year, including against SEC foe LSU on Sept. 10.

2015: Sat out the season as a redshirt. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Vigor High School in Prichard, Ala., under head coaches Kerry Stevenson and Ashley Johnson…led the Wolves to the AHSAA Class 5A Playoffs in his senior season…was a two-star recruit by Rivals.com…chose the Gamecocks over Western Kentucky, Samford and Northwestern State.

PERSONAL: Born on July 30, 1996, in Prichard, Ala…son of Gilmore and Majesta Lang…has twin brothers, Jake and Ji Lang…cousin Blaine Clausell plays for the Baltimore Ravens…majoring in business finance at JSU.
