2019: Appeared in 10 games as a true freshman...first career start came against North Alabama on Sept. 21... recorded 18 tackles on the year, including nine solo, with his first coming in the home-opener against Chattanooga...six tackles came for losses of 18 yards...picked up 2.5 sacks with first coming against Eastern Washington...his career-high came against Tennessee State with four tackles, one solo for loss, and a forced fumble.
HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered four years at Westbrook Christian for head coaches Tony Osborn, Shea Monroe and Brian Mintz in Rainbow City, Ala…racked up 70 tackles in 2018, including 23 tackles for a loss, 14 sacks, 19 quarterback hurries, three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries…helped the Warriors to a 7-4 record and a spot in the AHSAA Class 2A State Playoffs…was named WCHS’s most valuable player as both a junior and a senior…received first team all-state, all-region and all-district honors in 2018…was first team all-region, first team all-district and second team all-state as a junior…a member of the TV24 Pigskin Roundup All-Star Team and O.D. All-America Team…also lettered in basketball, baseball and track.
PERSONAL: Was born Jan. 3, 2001 in Atlanta, Ga…son of Phil and Tonya Luttrell…has one sister, Morgan…grandfather, Jimmy Luttrell, played football for Auburn and Jacksonville State…majoring in exercise science and wellness at JSU.
