JSU CAREER:
2018: Appeared in all 13 games for the Gamecocks as a redshirt junior, starting at the Nickel position in 11 of them…was fifth on the team in tackles with 48, 26 of which were solo…third on the team with 10 tackles for a loss and second on the squad in yards from tackles for loss with 38…had two sacks, an interception, three quarterback hurries and a fumble recovery…intercepted a pass in the season opener against North Carolina A&T in Montgomery…had a season-high 10 tackles at No. 2 Kennesaw State in Atlanta in the regular season finale…had at least one tackle in 11 of his 13 games played.
2017: Saw action in 11 games as a sophomore, missing only the Gamecocks’ matchup vs. Southeast Missouri…totaled 29 tackles (17 solo, 12 assisted) at the sam linebacker position…recorded 5.0 tackles for loss, racking up 30 negative yards…hurried the quarterback on six occasions…posted a career-high six tackles at Austin Peay on Oct. 7…also set a career-high with 1.5 tackles for a loss of nine yards against the Govs…broke up his first pass at Tennessee Tech on Sept. 30…owns four postseason tackles, including three against Kennesaw State on Dec. 2 in the first round of the 2017 FCS Playoffs…served second on the depth chart behind senior SLB Jonathan Hagler.
2016: Appeared in six games as a true freshman, including the season’s last five…recorded a tackle in JSU’s second-round playoff game against Youngstown State…set a career high in tackles with three at Murray State on Nov. 12…also had a tackle against UT Martin on Nov. 19.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played both ways for Whitewater High School in Fayetteville, Ga…was the Wildcats’ running back and safety, leading them to the GHSA Class AAAA State Playoffs…was an honorable mention All-State performer at running back as a senior…received an offer from Marshall University.
