JSU CAREER:
2013: Played in all 15 games for the Gamecocks as a sophomore…recorded 22 tackles, 12 solo and 5.5 behind the line of scrimmage…also picked up three sacks and recovered a fumble on the year…had four tackles in a game twice, vs. Eastern Kentucky on Nov. 9 and vs. Samford in the First Round of the FCS Playoffs on Nov. 30, a game that also saw him record two tackles for a loss and a sack…recovered a fumble at UT Martin on Oct. 5…had sacks in the Georgia State game and a week later vs. Murray State.
2012: Saw action in ten games as a freshman on the defensive line…earned a start at defensive end against Chattanooga on Sept. 9…finished the season 16 total tackles…recorded a season-best three in JSU’s win over Tennessee State on Oct. 20…turned in a sack for an eight-yard loss against the Tigers…credited with one quarterback hurry during the 2011 season.
2011: Sat out the season as a redshirt.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played for Jarrod Hickman at Florida High School…named first-team all-district and all-region as a senior…named team Defensive Player of the Year…had 10 catches for more than 200 yards and a touchdown in 2010…team won back-to-back District Championships in 2008 and 2009…was Region Champions in 2008…an honor student…a scholar-athlete…also recruited by Elon, Samford and Florida A&M.
