JSU CAREER
(2017): Made three appearances out of the bullpen as a redshirt sophomore … tossed two innings and surrendered only one run against Auburn on March 15, 2017 before throwing an inning each against Tennessee Tech (April 8th) and Troy (April 19th) and allowing three combined runs … recorded his only two strikeouts of the season against the Tigers of AU.
(2016): Made his Gamecock debut in the opening weekend of the season and secured a win after pitching the final frame against Valparaiso (2/20)…made four appearances in his first season in uniform and pitched 5.2 innings…turned in two innings of work against Troy (3/9)…posted a pair of strikeouts against the Trojans…made two appearances in Ohio Valley Conference play against Southeast Missouri (4/23) and Eastern Kentucky (5/6)
(2015) Did not see action as a freshman.
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Victory Christian in Pell City, Alabama as a freshman and sophomore…transferred to Coosa Valley Academy in Harpersville, Alabama for his junior and senior years…coached by Scotty Smith, Tyler Dent and Bobby Permenter…Played multiple positions on the prep level…Guided CVA to the Alabama Independent School Association’s State Championship…helped the Rebels of CVA string together 16 consecutive wins during the 2014 season…also led CVA in stolen bases…also played football at CVA as he rushed for over 1,200 yards as a senior….was tabbed the St. Clair News Player of the Week during the football season…an honor student in the classroom at CVA with a 3.5 grade point average…played American Legion Baseball with Post 131 Columbiana under the guidance of Jay Gibson.
PERSONAL: The son of Siave Teofilo and Cynthia Brittian…born December 9, 1995 in Pell City, Alabama…has two older siblings, one brother, Mason (25) and sister Olita (22)…majoring in math education at JSU.
