High School: Joins JSU after attending Albertville High School…played for coaches Jeff Simmons and Torrey Croft…turned in a .325 batting average at the plate as a junior before propelling that mark to .365 as a senior at AHS…helped the Aggies reach the state playoffs since 2003 with a 19-11 mark as a senior in 2017…AHS claimed the county championship in 2017…named team captain…also played football and basketball for the Aggies…a member of AHS’s Class 6A Area 14 championship squad as a junior…was named the linebacker of the year at AHS after a solid senior campaign…guided the Aggies to school history on the football field with back-to-back playoff appearances…AHS posted a combined mark of 15-7 over those two seasons…a teammate of Braxton Morris, who plays baseball at Morehead State.
