JSU CAREER
(2017):
Appeared in 41 games while earning the starting nod for the Gamecocks in 34 … finished the year batting .244 and drawing 20 walks, good enough for fourth-best on the team … recorded 286 putouts in 329 chances …  scored 20 runs, hit four doubles, two home runs and drove in 17 runs throughout the season … recorded seven two-hit games, including three during OVC play and a three-hit game against Tennessee Tech on April 8 … successfully threw out 15 attempted base stealers.

(2016): A mainstay at catcher for Jacksonville State with 48 starts and saw action in 51 games…was one of seven Gamecocks to finish the season with a .300-plus batting average...posted a .313 mark at the plate with 60 hits in 192 plate appearances…collected 14 doubles and five home runs, which was fourth-best on the club…was one of nine Gamecocks to have double figure doubles as Jax State led the nation in doubles per game (2.50)…ranked fourth on the team in runs-scored with 40…drove in 32 runs and reached base via walk 25 times…also led the team with nine hit by pitches…was 2-for-2 in stolen bases…picked off a pair of runners and threw out 12 runners on the base paths…set new career standards for plate appearances with six chances at the plate in four games in 2016, including six at bats in JSU’s 26-11 win over Belmont (4/30)…had three of JSU’s program-best 31 hits against the Bruins and drove in a pair of runs and scored two runs…posted a career-high four hits against SIU Edwardsville (3/11)...credited with a pair of doubles against Western Kentucky (3/5) and tallied four RBI…four of the five home runs in 2016 were against Ohio Valley Conference competition…finished the season at .333 against OVC pitchers and drove in 15 runs in league games-only.

(2015): Saw action in 49 games and started 40 games behind the dish as a first-year player…finished the season with a .277 batting average…accumulated 38 total hits, including 17 extra base hits…drove in 24 runs, including three five multiple RBI contests…ranked third on the club in home run with six…carded 10 doubles and a triple as a freshman…gunned down 12 runners on the base paths and had a fielding percentage of .988…had a season-high five plate appearances against Tennessee Tech (4/11/15)…turned in three hits at Eastern Kentucky (5/2/15) and drove in three runs on three different times...had 15 putouts against Tennessee Tech (4/11/15).

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Prattville High School, just north of Montgomery, Alabama...played for Martin Jackson and Tommy …can play multiple positions as he played second base and catcher at PHS…named a Second Team All-State performer as a second baseman following his junior season…was a First Team All-State selection at the catcher spot as a senior…A five-time All-Metro Team honoree…claimed All-Metro Player of the Year honors as a junior and senior…tabbed the PHS Most Valuable Player as a junior and senior…hit .439 as a senior with a slugging percentage of over .800…hit seven home runs and accounted for 26 doubles as a senior for the Lions…a near .400 hitter throughout his prep career and a .496 on base percentage…connected on 16 home runs on the high school level and 68 doubles.

PERSONAL: Full name is Hayden White….son of Danny and Christy White…born on January 10, 1995 in Montgomery, Alabama…has one brother, Austin (22), who also played collegiate baseball…majoring in business at JSU…lists the Atlanta Braves as his favorite Major League Baseball team.
