JSU CAREER: (2007) Started in nine games before missing two of the final three games of the season…Finished season as team’s most productive offensive lineman…Graded out at 85 percent for the year…Best statistical game came in the win over Murray State when he graded out at a season-high 91 percent
(2006) Played in eight games, earning starts in all eight for the Gamecocks after playing a total of 525 snaps…was named Second Team All-OVC at offensive guard…finished the season with 85 knockdowns and 14 pancakes…played a major role on the offensive line that paved the way for Clay Green’s second straight 1,000-yard rushing season…graded out at 84 percent on the season to lead the team despite missing the final game of the season…had one of his most productive games of the season vs. Samford on 11/11 where he graded out at 90 percent, but broke his ankle in the second half against the Bulldogs and missed the final game of the season at Eastern Illinois.
(2005): Saw action in nine games for the Gamecocks as a freshman, earning the starting nod in two...was on the offensive front for 228 plays, and graded out at 85 percent after recording 21 knockdowns and four pancakes, earning him OVC All-Newcomer Team honors...helped an offensive line unit that paved the way for the Ohio Valley’s top rushing attack and the 17th-best in the nation...also helped the offensive line allow the fewest sacks in the OVC and the eighth-fewest nationally.
HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Lassister High School for Greg Dirst....was a first-team All-county and All-region selection in 2004....was a first-team Cobb County Touchdown Club selection in 2004.....named to the Marietta Daily Journal’s All-county team....team finished 6-4 his senior season and served as team captain in 2004.
