2008 SPRING OUTLOOK: Worked hard in the spring to improve his hangtime and net punting…enters the fall with high expectations.
 
JSU CAREER
2007: Served as the Gamecocks’ first team punter in all 11 games in his junior season…finished third in the Ohio Valley Conference and 11th in the nation with a 42.48 punting average…punted 50 times for 2,124 yards, an average of 42.5 yards per punt…pinned 19 punts inside the opponents’ 20-yard line, had seven touchbacks and seven fair catches…booted nine punts that were 50 yards or longer, including a season-long 64-yard punt at Southeast Missouri on Nov. 17…was named the OVC Special Teams Player of the Week on Oct. 14 after he punted twice at Austin Peay for an average of 48.5 yards per punt and pinned both kicks inside the 20-yard line…punted a season-high nine times against Tennessee Tech on Oct. 20…against UT Martin on Oct. 4had six punts for an average of 41,7 yards, but stopped four of the six inside the 20…punted four times in the season finale at Southeast Missouri, when he averaged a season-best 48.2 yards per punt…had at least one punt over 50 yards in six of his 11 games…punted three or more times in all but one game.
 
(2006) Appeared in all 11 games for the Gamecocks as the team’s punter…led the team, was third in the OVC and 19th in the nation with a 41.2 punting average…punted 57 times for a total of 2,349 yards…pinned 22 punts inside the opponents’ 20-yard line and had only three touchbacks and just one punt blocked…was named the OVC Special Teams Player of the Week three times, on Oct. 1, Oct. 8 and Oct. 29…earned the honor on Oct. 29 after booming a school-record 81-yard punt at Tennessee Tech on Oct. 28, a day that saw him average 42.6 yards and pin four kicks inside the 20 on eight punts…the 81-yard punt was the second-longest punt by any player in the OVC in 2006…against Murray State on Oct. 5, finished with a career-best 48.5-yard average on six punts, including four inside the Racers’ 20…his other honor came after the Sept. 30 Eastern Kentucky game, where he averaged 45 yards on two punts, both pinned inside the 20, including a 75-yard punt in rainy conditions…booted six punts longer than 50 yards on the year, including two in the Sept. 2 season opener at Furman and two more at Eastern Kentucky on Sept. 30…had 15 punts that were fair caught by opponents.
 
(2005) Walked on as a true freshman and became the team’s starting punter by the season opener…stormed onto the scene in his collegiate debut against Furman on Sept. 1, booted his first career punt 71 yards and watched it pin the Paladins on the one-yard line and added another punt inside the five and one inside the 20 to earn Ohio Valley Conference and National Special Teams Player of the Week honors by I-AA.org after finishing the week with five punts for a 44.2-yard average…on the season, averaged 37.4 yards per punt on 51 attempts, thanks to two over 50 yards…pinned 15 punts inside the 20 and forced eight fair catches…booted a 60-yard kick in the season finale against Eastern Illinois on Nov. 19.
