JSU CAREER: (2007) Played in and started all 11 games…Graded out at 75 percent for the season…Earned 585 points from coaches’ game file, the second highest total on the offensive line…Had best game of the season in win over Austin Peay, grading out at 84 percent and earning a season-high 42 bonus points.

 

(2006) played in and started all 11 games for the Gamecocks…played a total of 593 snaps, the second most on the team…graded out at 73 percent on the season…played best game of the season on 11/11 vs. Samford where he graded out at 84 percent…finished the season with 98 knockdowns and five pancakes.

 

OTHER COLLEGES: (2005) Saw limited action for Mike Shula at the University of Alabama…the Crimson Tide finished with a 10-2 record and claimed a 13-10 win over Texas Tech in the Mobile Cotton Bowl.

 

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at W.P. Davidson High School for Glenn Vickery…was a first-team All-State selection as a senior in 2004…was a two-time All-Regional selection in 2003 and 2004, after helping the Warriors to back-to-back 10-2 records…was named to the Mobile Press Register All-State and All-City squads in 2003 and 2004…was named Who’s Who Among American High School Students.

 

PERSONAL:  Full name is Alfred Field Jefferson…son of Claude Jefferson and Charlene, and Becky Jefferson…has one younger sister, Allison…born on April 3, 1986… majoring in Exercise Science at JSU.
